How we publish and review information
Source first
When a calculation depends on a published equation or research finding, we identify the source rather than treating another calculator website as the authority.
Separate facts from estimates
Measured values, mathematical outputs, research findings and explanatory interpretations are kept distinct. Predictive 1RM results are labeled as estimates.
No invented expertise
We do not create fictional authors, reviewers, credentials, awards or professional affiliations. A named reviewer is used only when the underlying identity and credentials can be substantiated.
Updates
Each calculator has a visible review date. A review can be triggered by a source update, a code change, a reported issue, or the scheduled technical review cycle.
Corrections
When an error is confirmed, the underlying calculation or content is corrected and the review date is updated. Material corrections may also be documented on the Corrections page.
